This e-mail gives instructions on how to notify the Competitive Bidding Implementation Contractor (CBIC) if your e-mail address changes. It is important to keep your e-mail address current because it will be used to send you critical information about the Durable Medical Equipment, Prosthetics, Orthotics, and Supplies (DMEPOS) Competitive Bidding Program.
Your DBidS role to access the CMS Enterprise Identity Management (EIDM) system for DBidS was archived on July 8, 2016. Now that your role is archived from DBidS, you will not be able to update your e-mail address or make other changes in EIDM for the DMEPOS Competitive Bidding Program. Your EIDM User ID will still be available to register for other applications and for the next round of competitive bidding.
Please contact the CBIC customer service center at 877-577-5331 between 9 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. prevailing Eastern Time, Monday through Friday to make the following changes.
- Updates to e-mail addresses
- Changes or removal of roles (authorized official (AO), backup authorized official (BAO), end user (EU))
- Change a phone number for an AO, BAO, or EU
